Determine whether the blemishes are concentrated all over your buttocks, or whether they are primarily between your buttocks. If the latter holds, your blemishes probably are resulting from a bad reaction to underwear. You should switch to wearing underwear made of cotton that allows your skin to "breathe," and avoid thongs and tight underwear.
2Shower, particularly after exercise. When sweat collects on the surface of your buttocks, it can block your pores, causing butt acne.
3Exfoliate your skin, at least every other day, to remove dead skin cells that can block your pores and cause acne. A washcloth is the cheapest and easiest way of exfoliating your skin. When exfoliating, apply a medium amount of pressure to your skin, but avoid scrubbing your skin to the point of redness, as this will further irritate acne.
4Wash your skin, daily, with a salicylic acid cleanser that will combat acne.
